Our Reviews:
The hearing aids have helped her so much with her speech. She had been going to speech for over 4 years, and progress was very slow. She has had hearing aids for almost a year now and her speech therapist says she is almost ready to graduate from therapy. We are thrilled for her.” (10 year old)
It seems to be going really well. I’m noticing small changes. Her speech therapist and I are noticing she is able to follow directions with only one directive vs repeating multiple times. I also notice she is understanding stories better when read out loud to her. They did say that she is more attentive and seems to understand directions better. She did recently make an 81% on a reading assignment. Which is a huge jump from the 50s and 40s she has been making. She also passed her phonics screener with an 80% and that was one of her areas of struggle. Her phonics screener is read to her, and she has to pick the correct word. Her teacher expressed earlier before the hearing aids that she didn’t know if she was hearing clearly or if there was a deficit. We have seen some improvements. She also is doing really well with keeping them in. (7 year old)
She is doing great with them. We have noticed a lot of improvement with her. The tv is not so loud, she is more attentive and able to focus a little better when we speak to her. One of the most amazing things we have heard her pronounce was her sister's name. She now says "PipER" instead of "PipA". She has been wearing them to school all week. (8 year old).
She has been doing great with them and has even worn them to school per her request (6 year old).
He said that he can tell a difference with the hearing aids. We also are able to have easier conversations with him. (12 year old)
The teachers have noticed significant improvement. She is raising her hand more and participating in class. She is happier and is not as tired when she comes home from school. (9 year old).
He continues to be doing good with them. He says they make it easier. It’s tricky not understanding myself and him not being able to articulate exactly what he means. We do hear some differences. Rarely is he asking to take a break and take them out so that seems like a win. Also makes me feel as though he does notice them helping him more. The good thing that came was that as a family we all agreed that his speech is mostly clearer when he does have them in. It’s harder for me to tell sometimes as I am with him all the time. His dad and oldest brother were both in agreement that his speech was significantly different without them in. (15 year old)
I wanted to let you know that her reading tutor is seeing much improvement with hearing the sounds in words especially those with tough endings like ft and pt. (14 year old)
Her speech assessment went from a 50% to an 80% while wearing the hearing aids. We have noticed significant improvements. (11 year old).
Personally, I think she speaks a little more clearly and responds to us more quickly with them in. She is doing great with them and wants to wear them during summer camp as well. (7 year old).
He is doing amazing. His teachers have noticed significant improvements, like better attention, better at following directions, and reduced emotional reactivity. We are so thankful for the hearing aids. (6 year old).
